Our MBPI Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty requires that the customer maintain their vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer’s published maintenance requirements. This feature results in more frequent customer contact resulting in improved retention, up-sell opportunities, and ultimately increased customer loyalty for our selling Dealers.
Customers frequently returning to your service department allow your sales staff an opportunity to shorten the trade cycle and sell a new vehicle. National studies and existing sales data show that consumers are much more likely to make a repurchase decision with your dealership when they are a loyal service customer.
Additionally, every customer must bring in their vehicle to the selling Dealer on the seventh year of ownership for a thorough inspection and repairs if necessary. This feature ensures you have an additional opportunity for service revenue or an opportunity to sell a new vehicle to that customer.
MBPI Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty Eligibility:
– Current plus 6 model years; vehicles with up to 70, 000 miles at time of sale.
– Four vehicle classes resulting in simplified pricing.
– Lifted (6” or less) or lowered (3” or less) vehicles.
Coverage:
Engine: All internally lubricated parts. Plus the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, harmonic balancer, valve covers, timing gear cover, timing belt, water pump, fan clutch, fan blade, fuel pump and engine mounts, the engine block, engine head(s), cylinder barrels and rotor housing if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.
Turbo/Supercharger: Internal parts, vanes, shaft and shaft bearings. Plus the turbo/supercharger housing if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.
Transmission: All internally lubricated parts. Plus the flywheel, flex plate, torque converter, transmission mounts and the transmission case if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.
Transfer Unit – 4X4, AWD: All internally lubricated parts. Plus the transfer case if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.
Drive Axle Assembly: All internally lubricated parts. Plus axle shafts, axle bearings, constant velocity joints, front hubs and front hub bearings, drive shaft carrier bearing, universal joints and yokes, the differential housing and final drive case if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.
Seals and Gaskets: for covered components.
